He's Living Like It's The Last Night on Earth
Last Night On Earth
U2
She feels the ground is giving way
But she thinks we're better off that way.
"The more you take, the less you feel
The less you know the more you believe
The more you have, the more it takes today".
You gotta give it away
You gotta give it away
You gotta give it away
Give it away
You gotta give it away
You gotta give it away
Well she don't care what it's worth
She's living like it's the last night on earth
The last night on earth.
She's not waiting on a saviour to come
She's at the bus stop
With the News Of The World
And the sun, sun, here it comes.
She's not waiting for anyone.
You gotta give it away
You gotta give it away
You gotta give it away
Give it away.
You gotta give it away
You gotta give it away
Well she don't care what it's worth
She's living like it's the last night on earth
The last night on earth.
Slipping away, slip, slide
Too many slipping away.
The world turns and we get dizzy
Slipping away.
She's living
She's living next week now.
You know she's gonna pay you back somehow.
She hasn't been to bed in a week
She'll be dead soon, then she'll sleep.
You gotta give it away
You gotta give it away
Give it away
You gotta give it away
You gotta give it away
She already knows it hurts
She's living like it the last night on earth
The last night on earth
Last night on earth
Last night.
But she thinks we're better off that way.
"The more you take, the less you feel
The less you know the more you believe
The more you have, the more it takes today".
You gotta give it away
You gotta give it away
You gotta give it away

Going Home
Ice, your only rivers run cold.
These city lights, they shine as silver and gold.
Dug from the night, your eyes as black as coal.
Walk on by, walk on through.
Walk till you run and don't look back
For here I am.
Carnival, the wheels fly and the colours spin through alcohol.
Red wine that punctures the skin.
Face to face in a dry and waterless place.
Walk on by, walk on through.
So sad to besiege your love… oh hang on.
Stay this time, stay tonight in a lie.
I'm only asking, but I, I think you know.
Come on take me away, come on take me away
Come on take me home, home again.
And if the mountains should crumble
Or disappear into the sea
Not a tear, no not I.
Stay this time, stay tonight in a lie.
Ever after is a long time.
And if you save your love, save it all, save it all
Don't push me too far, don't push me too far.
Tonight, tonight.
These city lights, they shine as silver and gold.
Dug from the night, your eyes as black as coal.
Walk till you run and don't look back
For here I am.
Carnival, the wheels fly and the colours spin through alcohol.
Face to face in a dry and waterless place.
Walk on by, walk on through.

Ever after is a long time.
And if you save your love, save it all, save it all
Don't push me too far, don't push me too far.
Tonight, tonight.
U2 - This Show Will Last For Ever - 13/04/2011 -360° Tour
And for another capacity crowd at this third and final night at the Morumbi Stadium in Sao Paulo, as well as those listening online and on the radio in Venezuela, Peru Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Brazil - and all those tuning in worldwide on U2.com - this was surely a night we won't forget.
'Lift Up and Lift Off' said Chip in Philadelphia, on our live text feed, as we heard the opening chords of Even Better Than The Real Thing. 'Think I'm gonna blow my speakers,' added Badsilver. 'Never seen them live,' said Oscar in Iceland, 'Love when they do something like this'.
Extraordinary but little known fact of the night: the song playing before Space Oddity, ahead of the band's arrival on stage, was Telstar by The Tornados, whose rhythm guitarist was one George Bellamy, father of Matt of Muse, whose band played another fine set earlier in the evening.
There was more musical pedigree in the house tonight too: Steve Lillywhite had flown down from New York and when I Will Follow took over from 'Real Thing' Steve, the original producer of this track, was amazed to hear it 'sounding as good as it did 30 years ago'. And this audience is loud, as he told his followers on Twitter: 'People from Sao Paulo know how to make a noise at a U2 concert !'
Thousands and thousands of you from all over the world were adding to our live text feed, while listening live online, and everyone agreed that these Brazilian fans know how to enjoy a show.
'Don't think I'll need coffee to stay awake for this! said Eamonn Doyle in Ireland. Hoachy, in Falkirk, Scotland said that the sound is so good, 'My whole street are listening to this.'
Mysterious Ways was up next and BAM in NY captured the universal good vibes: 'What better joy is there than to rock to U2 live, or stream it, AND Tweet, FB, text, etc with all U2 Fans in the WORLD.'
Larry had a Brazilian flag across the drum kit as the band were introduced:'Ring those bells Edge, ring those bells.'
'I hope you like our current mode of transportation,' continued Bono, before Still Haven't Found. 'The space station has been to all kinds of interesting places and we mean it when we say that we are coming all the way over here to here to see you.
'Usually we sing to our audience but here our audience sings to us.
'Usually we put on a show for our audience but here you put on a show for us.'
No need to actually sing the song as the whole place was singing it for him. 'Let's go to church now...' After Pride, a special guest: ''We are great fans of a truly great artist here in Brazil,' explained Bono, 'His name is Seu Jorge.' Loud reception as Seu takes the stage to join Bono for a beautiful acoustic duet of 'The Model'. Another guest followed, a young woman to read a Brazilian translation of Beautiful Day which the band then follow with their own translation, seamlessly giving way to Miss Sarajevo - or 'Miss Sao Paulo' as Huubster in Curacao puts it.
And a great night is only going to get better.
'Zooropa... Vorsprung durch Technik
Zooropa... be all that you can be
Be a winner
Eat to get slimmer....'
For only the fifth live performance ever Zooropa returns to the set and it's perfectly placed before the Space Station takes off again. 'Bring on the Lemon' as a commenter in New York suggests.
'The best moment of the show!' says Jenny in Australia, welcoming City of Blinding Lights. 'A spectacle for the eyes and very good for the soul!' adds Joao Paulo in Brazil. And in a tour which keeps throwing up surprises in the set list, there was one more to come: All I Want Is You, bleeding into Streets, which was, frankly, something else!
'This is INCREDIBLE!' said FranciscoBrady. 'I´ve been to the 3 concerts in Argentina and i felt in heaven ! But tonight I feel like the whole world is connected trough U2 live from South America ! Thanks to U2 and hi to the rest of the world.. we are there.. right now.. yes, there, where the streets have no name! peace!'
A final word from Danny in Ireland: 'Thank you Brazil...you have given us the best soccer and now the best U2 fans..'

The Model
Kraftwerk
She's a model and she's looking good
I'd like to take her home that's understood
She plays hard to get, she smiles from time to time
It only takes a camera to change her mind
She's going out tonight but drinking just champagne
And she has been checking nearly all the men
She's playing her game and you can hear them say
She is looking good, for beauty we will pay
She's posing for consumer products now and then
For every camera she gives the best she can
I saw her on the cover of a magazine
Now she's a big success, I want to meet her again
I'd like to take her home that's understood
She plays hard to get, she smiles from time to time
It only takes a camera to change her mind

Zooropa in Sao Paulo - 10/04/2011
The heavens opened and drenched everyone ahead of the band taking the stage for the second night in Sao Paulo but this turned out to be a memorable night for all kinds of other reasons.
'Real Thing' opened the show and then, 'for special reasons, this is our first single' announced Bono as the band broke into a surprise that sounded as fresh and fierce as the day of its release in 1979.
'I had the feeling it was out of control
I was of the opinion it was out of control....'
Rain, what rain? 'Boots', Magnificent, Mysterious Ways, Elevation, the joint was jumping at Estadio Morumbi, it was well out of control.
'Mucho obrigado, Thank you to Muse,' said Bono. 'Extraordinarily talented musicians.'
'Nos amamos o Brazil... We love you... but you know that don't you?'
Still, everybody needs reassurance, so it was a good moment to make sure, he explained.
'Edge is a very insecure guy and asked me to check that you don't love other bands the way that you love us...'
The general ovation that followed suggested there wasn't too much to be concerned about, but still, as Bono continued, 'You've had other lovers passing through - Oasis, Coldplay, now Muse - so Edge needs to know how much you love him.'
Brazil confirmed its undying love in the loudest possible terms. Tonight, in case of any doubt, Bono also confirmed it was Larry Mullen on drums and Adam Clayton on bass guitar.
'And if I wasn't insecure I wouldn't have become a singer - my name is Bono.
We try to serve you. We salute you...'
Special thanks went out to Governor Alckmin for the loan of Sao Paulo. 'No work tomorrow, is that right? U2 day. Its official! Alright new song, this is North Star.'
Beautiful Day segued into an stadium-wide sing-a-long of Singing in the Rain before Vertigo turned the stadium into clubland again. And then, out of nowhere, after Miss Sarajevo, a total surprise, the return of Zooropa, which hasn't been played live since the year it was released way back in another century.
'Zooropa... a bluer kind of white
Zooropa... it could be yours tonight.'
You know a track is making a little bit of musical history when it starts trending on Twitter which Zooropa did tonight - amazing moment for Brazilian U2 fans.
'Don't know what to say to you,' exlaims Bono after 'Streets. 'What an unforgettable night. We will never forget this night. Good looking people!'
And with another special dedication of 'Moment of Surrender' to those in sorrow, 'mothers and fathers without children', after Thursday's events in Rio, the second show in Sao Paulo comes to a close.

2011'Tonight is Saturday in Sao Paulo...'
'Trem das Onze', a samba composition by Adoniran Barbosa, was playing ahead of the band's arrival on stage tonight.
It's one of the most famous of all Brazilian songs but when it gave way to 'Space Oddity' finally Brazil knew that U2 were heading to the stage and before we knew it we were all caught up in 'Even Better Than The Real Thing'.
It's one of the most famous of all Brazilian songs but when it gave way to 'Space Oddity' finally Brazil knew that U2 were heading to the stage and before we knew it we were all caught up in 'Even Better Than The Real Thing'.
'Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo...' Bono sang, the whole stadium grateful that there was no rain coming down as the first of three shows here got underway. 'Even Better', already in contention for the best opening track of the tour to date, led into I Will Follow and then 'Boots, two tracks written thirty years apart but you'd never know it from the reaction of this super-passionate audience. Phenomenal sound from all around.
We've had some mixed weather in Sao Paulo today but it was dry as the first of three shows in this city got underway, with spectacular shards of lightning in the sky illuminating a helicopter buzzing over the stadium.
'Wow! Thank you. Obrigado.' said Bono. 'Tonight is Saturday in Sao Paulo...'
Introductions to the band took a pizza twist with Bono describing himself as the pepperoni pizza, Adam as the banana pizza and Larry... 'No cheese, no tomato, no pastry, no pizza - we call him the good looking pizza. Larry Mullen on drums.'
An acoustic version of Stuck In A Moment made its way back into the set tonight, dedicated to Julian Lennon to whom the band led a rendition of Happy Birthday.
'We'd like to sing this song for a friend of ours, Julian Lennon... here's a song about friendship.'
With a stadium of Brazilians singing along word for word, it was a little bit spine-tingling, as was the poetry read by a young woman who made her way into the spotlight before Beautiful Day.
'We're so proud to be friends of Brazil,' said Bono, as, a beautiful night coming to a close, he paused to pay tribute to the people of this country and to President Dilma Rousseff. 'We salute you, we salute her.'
And then an incredibly touching moment with Moment of Surrender going out to those who lost their lives in the shooting at Tasso da Silveira school in Rio di Janeiro on Thursday.
' This has been a difficult time for Brazil... and what happened in Tasso da Silveira.
'We'd like to dedicate this to the children and the mothers and their families and the teachers and the people of Brazil.'
And as Moment of Surrender offered its beautiful benediction, the names of the children who lost their lives illuminated the giant screens around the stage. Unforgettable.

-------------------------
“No olviden a Gustavo Cerati”, pidió Bono antes de With or Without You.

Tranqui, tomando unos tragos.
(Especial)

Early life
Francisca Valenzuela's career is divided between the United States and Chile. She lived her first twelve years in San Francisco, California, United States. Valenzuela is the fourth oldest and only daughter of five children, born to two Chilean born scientists, Pablo DT Valenzuela and Bernardita Méndez. She demonstrated interest in music at a very early age. She began taking music lessons at the age of 7. By the age of ten she was playing acoustic guitar, was studying classical piano and was taking her first steps in writing songs. She lived and attended school in San Francisco and Berkeley, California. During summer vacations, she and her brothers would travel to Santiago, where they would visit relatives. Eventually, the family would make the permanent move to Santiago, when Francisca was 12. In 2000, Francisca published her first book,"Defenseless Waters" a collection of her poems. She released her second book,"Abejorros/Madurar", which was distributed in Spain and Latin America. As part a promotional tour for "Defenseless Waters", she brought her guitar and keyboard to venues in northern California, where she gave poetry readings and performed songs of her own composition. Valenzuela is fluent in English and Spanish, and often composes songs in both languages. Although she and her family still live in Santiago, Valenzuela often returns to San Francisco to visit.Career
2004-2007: Music debut Muérdete la Lengua
In 2006, Valenzuela released her first solo single called "Peces", which she wrote at age 13. After a few months after its release, "Peces" gained popularity on Chilean radio. Valenzuela gave radio interviews and concerts to promote her new song. "Peces" was recognized by Rolling Stone magazine, as one of the best 100 songs of the year 2006. The song was written in 2000, when Valenzuela was thirteen years old. She and her family had moved to Santiago that year from San Francisco. Valenzuela wrote the song about a boy she liked at school who didn't reciprocate her feelings. At the end of that year, she released her second single "Dulce" to radio Rock & Pop. "Dulce" reached number two on the national charts in Chile.
To add more achievements to her short musical career, on May 19, 2007, she was invited by Julieta Venegas to open her concert at Teatro Caupolicán. On June 30, 2007, she released her first solo album called Muérdete La Lengua with the production of the brothers Mauricio and Francisco Durán (Los Bunkers), who contains 10 songs (included "Peces" and "Dulce"). The Chilean press quickly dubbed her as The Princess of Rock, calling her, " new musical revelation". Soon after its release, the album was certified as Gold in Chile. Valenzuela performed in New York City at the annual LAMC conference in July of 2008. This was Valenzuela's first musical exposure in the US and gave her an opportunity to showcase her music outside of Latin American. She has performed in Mexico and Uruguay, and continued to perform at various venues in her native Chile.

U2 360° Tour en Chile - 25 / 03 / 2011 - I Love You TOOOOOOOOOOOO
Una noche llena de emociones donde no faltaron Mysterious Ways, Elevation, Until the End of the world, I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking for, Pride (in the name of love) lejos los temas más coreados de la noche.
Siguieron con In a Little While, Miss Sarajevo y City of Blonding Lights.
Where the streets have no Name.

2011 , April nine , a shot ( U2 ) rings out in Sao Paulo skies...
Pride (In The Name Of Love)
U2
One man come in the name of love
One man come and go.
One man come here to justify
One man to overthrow.
In the name of love
What more in the name of love.
In the name of love
What more in the name of love.
One man caught on a barbed wire fence
One man here resist
One man washed up on an empty beach
One man betrayed with a kiss.
In the name of love
What more in the name of love.
In the name of love
What more in the name of love.
Early morning, April four
Shot rings out in the Memphis sky.Free at last, they took your life
They could not take your pride.
In the name of love
What more in the name of love.
In the name of love
What more in the name of love.
In the name of love
What more in the name of love.
In the name of love
What more in the name of love.
One man come and go.
One man come here to justify
One man to overthrow.
In the name of love
What more in the name of love.
In the name of love
What more in the name of love.
One man caught on a barbed wire fence
One man here resist
One man washed up on an empty beach
One man betrayed with a kiss.
In the name of love
What more in the name of love.
In the name of love
What more in the name of love.
